I really like this, especially the ambiguity of the “the longed-for being.” To me, there could be an implied comma after “longed-for” which changes the meaning slightly. Or, “longed-for being” could be one phrase (the being the interesting child longs for, perhaps).
“I’m determined to make the most of my roguish existence” A fitting end to another great poem. As usual your work is inspiring and fun to read. Thank you for sharing.
Love the source of your collage of words asking a question that finds its response in a very today fashion. Extremely creative and well thought out. Kudos,

What rouguish existence? Have you been dropping lace handkerchiefs in the inkwell again?

The opening question becomes an ambivalent answer with a mosaic of ideas in between! Beautiful!
